Of course you can, as long as you vote them in using your +3, +2 and/or +1 votes and there are slots available. Limit's still 30.

+3 [new] Ireland: Piano Concerto
+1 [new] Messiaen: Turangalila

Great choices! The Turangalîla is a work I love, but one I had not envisioned for this thread; however, since it does have an extended solo piano part and has been aptly described as a sinfonia concertante for piano and ondes martenot I believe it can have a place here.  8)

I'd appreciate it if there were no alterations to the names of the works while shuffling board entries, either for matters of convenience or other. The copy/paste procedure is simple enough (and the least we can do for the composers is cite their work properly).

I like that little knot of Modernism!
I've now listened to all of these (some on youtube). And I must say that, for me (and only me), it was pure torture. Doesn't the lack of tonality/melody bother you? I guess it must not, but I find it hard to see (listen) past.

I have listened to the Liszt, Busoni and other Romantic works championed on this list - and found them pure torture.  Doesn't the overlong, melodramatic pounding bother you?  I guess it must not.
I admit, I am biased. It is hard for me to be objective about some (not all) modern music. For me, if the melody is absent, I find the music hard to listen to - pure torture. The music that Karl highlighted lacks that entirely. Or do you think this is not the case?  Thus, there must be some other reason you and he like the music.

EDIT: As to melodramatic pounding - At least the romantics pound in harmony! :)
