From Standard Hour broadcasts from the 1940's, a compilation of American composers' works, with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Pierre Monteux. Sound is very good, with a bit of tracking sound in spots. Works of Cadman, Griffes, Sousa, Chadwick, Maganini, Macdowell, Sowerby, Taylor, Gershwin, Herbert, & Still. (with a fill of the Wagner's "Rienzi" overture. NBC Symphony under Guido Cantelli, from Jan. 3, 1953). $16.00 for the 2-CD set. Let me know if you're interested.  Steve Slezak  (spcv1@netzero.net)
