The Lied, Art Song, and Choral Texts Archive   |    http://www.recmusic.org/lieder/

I have just found a wonderful website.  See above.  The webmaster of the website describes it as follows on the home page:

Welcome! The Lied, Art Song, and Choral Texts Archive is a collection of texts used in 100,377 Lieder and other classical art songs (Kunstlieder, mélodies, canzoni, романсы, canciones, liederen, canções, sånger, laulua, písně, piosenki, etc.) as well as in many choral works and other types of classical vocal pieces.

The archive indexes 62,929 texts with 12,750 translations to English, French, Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and others. The website has frequent updates.

You can search by by Composer (12,157), by Poet (9,659), by First Line, by Title, by Language (100+), and several other criteria.  The translations are not only of titles, but of texts as well.  The number of languages into which each text has been translated varies, but there is an index of the languages after each title which you can use as a reference.  You don't have to go to the texts themselves to find out if it has been translated into your desired language.  There is also this note:

  Dear visitors,
This project is not funded. I work on it in my spare time. The REC Music Foundation has generously given me server-space, but I have many costs in maintaining and expanding the website. So if you find the information here useful, please consider making a donation. Your gift is greatly appreciated!

I also have a wishlist at Amazon.ca.

Please take a look at the home page, at least.  This is a wonderful and valuable resource.  And consider contributing.  Every classical song or lieder lover should have this site indexed in Favorites.
