Ooh, yes please.

...and do you mean to say I can only see the poll results if I vote? But how can I vote when I'm looking to buy a cycle?
Nobody has to apologise for using their brain.

A while ago you could get Abravanel for $3 download. I recommend it. The orchestra makes errors, but the readings and approach are excellent and the sound pretty good. It's not a top tier choice because of the third tier orchestra, but it's well worth exploring.

My choices are
1. Chailly
2. Boulez

Chailly is pretty clear first as a set for me. If I could I'd have cast a negative vote against Lenny NYPO.

I'd forgotten about this thread. I see my votes went to Chailly, Sinopoli and Segerstam and my sentiments haven't changed (I'd add Boulez and Abbado for a top 5). I do wonder who's the other one who voted for Segerstam, a most splendid cycle, long due for reissue.
