I saw the recent concert at Carnegie Hall, and am anxiously awaiting the cd.  DiDonato is superb!

With Levine and the MET Orchestra?  I agree.  That was my first time hearing her, and I was really floored.  She has such an enormous voice, with great presence.

Il Giardino Armonico L'oiseau Lyre debut

This is a very interesting release.  Twenty years ago, I would be skeptical of an Italian ensemble performing Handel Concerti Grossi, a work that has traditionally been "owned" by the English.
