Off-air recordings: to share or not to share?

Maybe a way out of the dilemma would be to simply ask. Write an e-mail to the radio station concerned. Or something like that.

Of course, they may or may not answer. But one can at least give it a try.

As for my bit about "desire constituting sufficient grounds": what I meant was justification. Does "desire" justify taking something without asking? When someone wants something - is that reason enough to simply take it? (I know, I'm not adding anything to the discussion. Just trying to say the same thing clearly. Because maybe it came out a bit muddled the first time round.)

Anyone who has visited a YouTube channel (other than those which belong to artists and orchestras, broadcasters or labels) to listen to classical music has most likely committed a crime.
