An exciting new poll, from the maker of the 5 Favourite Shostakovich Symphonies Poll.   :P  Vote now!   :)

Brahmsian

My vote is in.  In chronological order, currently my 5 favourites are:  4, 8, 10, 13, 15

DavidW

I voted for #8, my second favorites are #6, #10-15.

Archaic Torso of Apollo

I picked 6, 8, 9, 10 and 15.

This poll is harder than the symphonies poll, because all the DSCH quartets are good. I wouldn't be without any of 'em.

Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

Good question. I'm not sure my 21st century attention span could take finding out.

Wait till we eventually get to the "Your Favorite 5 Segerstam Symphonies" poll. At this rate, we should get to that by Christmas.

Oh, boy!

The new erato

5, 8, 10, 11, 13 were my picks as second voter. Actually no 13 is my overall favorite, though it is scary as hell.

I didn't pick that one because of the scariness. I can't listen to it often because it makes me depressed and disoriented.

1, 3, 4, 7, 15

Difficult to pick just five. Sad to leave out 2, 9 and 11.

Thank you for picking 2. It had been looking a bit forlorn  ;D

The Borodin Quartet recording of numbers 2 and 12 is right down my alley.

:)

Sarge, I'm glad you picked # 4.  Currently my favourite of them all.  :)
