What are the size limits (pixel dimensions and KBs) for avatars?  The Help files don't seem to contain any specifics on that score.

I remember it being 100x100, but I could be wrong. Try uploading a fairly large file and see if it throws back any error message along with dimension limits.

It so happens that I've just uploaded an avatar: 750x500, 96 dpi, 51.1 kb. No problem.

You may upload any size avatar you like. The forum software will resize large avatars to a maximum of 160 x 160 pixels.

My avatar "exploded" overnight, take a look, Wagner's portrait was never this big, I don't know how this could have happened??  ::)

Looks right to me. Of course, Wagner's head IS huge, but that's only a turn of phrase (or so I thought). :D  But seriously, Marvin, your avatar looks perfectly normal to me... :-\

LOL!  :D  Thank you for confirming this to me.  On my iPad the photo seemed to get much longer and a bit wider. Seeing as how its size is not bothersome to others (notwithstanding how others feel about Wagner) I think I'll keep it.

If I had images turned on, I think I'd find it pretty bothersome...
