Good to see you alive and kickin', you ol' geezer. :P

Now "Geezer" is something I have been called before  ;D

I read it "old bear" actually --- quite appropriate, I'd say.

Indeed. I am quite furry. Haven't shaved since I retired from the army.

Thank you guys for your concern. I'm okay. I didn't realize I hadn't checked in in three days. Times flies when you're old and forgetful  ;D

Take it easy and put on Celi on. That will slow time back down for you  ;D

That morning ritual torture of which we are both now blissfully free.

I haven't seen Jan (Traverso) in awhile --- I hope he's doing okay. I see he was last active yesterday, but he's probably just lurking.

Jan is OK, thank you for asking. He is just taking a bit of a break at the moment as we all do from time to time.

Happy not to be missed, AFAIK. But I hardly posted anything since my cardiac arrest in February with its many consequences (was kept in coma for four days and am only slowly recovering since then). Good to see you all here, so many good old friends. As soon as I can listen to music again - which is hardly the case now - I hope to be back! Warm wishes, Johan  :)
... music is not only an 'entertainment', nor a mere luxury, but a necessity of the spiritual if not of the physical life, an opening of those magic casements through which we can catch a glimpse of that country where ultimate reality will be found.    RVW, 1948

Good to see you on the mend and in fine spirits, Johan. Take good care of yourself !

So sorry to hear that, Johan. I hope you will recover satisfactorily and will come back with more enthusiasm than before. My best wishes to you.
Part of the tragedy of the Palestinians is that they have essentially no international support for a good reason: they've no wealth, they've no power, so they've no rights.
