Nor is it that far different. :)

That said, it is now September 12 and the lovely and talented Sara is still unaccounted for since July 19.  I'm sad.... :(

Just came here to post more/less the same thing. Her last.fm account is still active, so she isn't dead — just not posting here.

I miss Sara too. Somebody has to carry the torch for Pettersson's music around here because it certainly won't be me! :D

Lilas Pastia

Who is Sara? I suppose her GMG name will ring a bell, but I can't place it right now :-[

I love 9 through 16 too but I just don't have her proselytizing passion, unique insight and stunning eloquence, traits I'd need to pick up the Pettersson torch. We really do need her back...and not just for Pettersson's sake  ;)

the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Maybe your comments on Petterson should be in verse.

There once was a man named Pete
Who composed music while strapped to his seat
The more morbid he got
The more Sara got hot
And would scream, Man, his stuff's frakking neat!

Hey, when the Muse visits, I go with it.

Actually, I'm hanging around today, twiddling my thumbs, just waiting for Daniel to post the M1 results. Wait...I suppose that does mean I have no life  :D

I have the cricket T20 results if you fancy them...

No, but I do have my IPad to pick up signals from other outlets.

Guys - I miss Sara's posts as do all of us, and I hope she is doing well (don't know?); if so, she is probably checking in and reading these posts as a guest - if so, I can only hope her the best and wish that she will return to the fold, when ready - Dave :)

Lethe AKA Lethevitch

Thanks Corey :-*.  I do recall Lethe. And if she's not posting anymore she ought to. And not just for Pettersson's sake - although GAP still needs all the advocacy he can get  ;).

I miss Andre (or did he go by Sid on here?). He was from Australia and he always made interesting posts (unlike mine). We fought every now and again, but I got to know him better than anyone on this board. He was a friend as we talked about our personal problems. Sometimes it's nice to get to know people and get away from the music. We all love classical or we wouldn't be here, but getting to know somebody beyond the music strengthens the friendship we have with other members.

Isn't that eyeresist aka criticalI? Y'all are like peas in a pod, now that you mention it.
