Maybe ::). Being a mod is not something I enjoyed. A chore and a pain the butt, but also quite stressful at times :P.
Being a Mod was hard enough.  Just imagine what it was like being a Rocker!

And Maciek? What happened to Mack The Knife?

Maciek is in grad school, and his family has grown exponentially in the last 3 years. As a result of his work burden and familial obligations, his opportunities to come to the forum have diminished to the point of invisibility. :-\

Being a mod is actually great fun. One gets to interact with some of the most... interesting people.   :D

Thanks, Karl ;). The rocker seems to have more fun  :D.

I knew Mac's family had grown recently, and I can only imagine the fun he must have ;D.

I miss Bunny.

Bunny is a woman that comes and goes, the last time we emailed was years ago, but she will turn up eventually, not to worry, she travels a lot.

Yeah. It was nice to have a female know-it-all around.

You sound like a man who misses his ex-wife. A nice statement in support of marriage, I'd say!
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

Ha!

It's just that male know-it-alls are a dime a dozen...with a perpetual 2-for-1 special on the internet! There might be as many female know-it-alls, but if so, they're much better at keeping it hidden.  ;)

Funny, but in my life experience, the opposite holds true.

Yeah, but that's face to face, where they can do serious damage. Aggression is minimized by distance.  >:D

Still no Lethe.   :(
Hugs & kisses for her and best wishes for a fulfilling life away from GMG. There are many good reasons to take a break from the forum and I pray it's by her choice and not some forced necessity. Regardless of the reason, it may do her heart good if she ever returns and sees on this thread how much she is respected, loved, and missed.  :-*

Yes. In case she passes by this way sometime, I'd like my agreement to be registered.

I have it on good authority that Lethe is fine, and seems to be doing better than ever. :)

We should then rejoice at missing members, as souls who disappear from purgatory, admitted to Paradiso.

I think I will try to summon the will power to go missing.  Managed for a year or so, then relapsed.

My level of activity here seems to have a correlation with my job situation at any given time. If I don't have much to do, I usually listen to more classical music.

Is Andre' now "Lilas Pastia" ?!

I wanted to send him a message, but that new name does not work!

Was, unfortunately. I think the name change was the last thing he did before deleting his account. The cause was a fracture in the HIP. :(

Your "name" can be different from your login ID and I think that if you delete your account your name defaults to the login ID.  (A lot of people changed their name when an attack on the site was causing people to get logged out of the site some time ago).
