Great to see you return, Don:)

(poco) Sforzando

Sounds like a interesting review is in the offing, even if the play was not interesting.

The play is interesting. The direction was appalling.

I love La Mer.

I really don't want Ken B to ride (gallop?) into the sunset - we agreed on most music-related things, La Mer being one amusing exception.  And who will defend Philip Glass, besides myself?  I believe he made a point of nurturing new GMG members and he has comic gifts - I hope his 'exit' is just one of those. I will sorely miss him. Besides, he still owes me a thread on his experiences as a classical music director.  Maybe we could tempt him back with an offer of butter tarts, he likes those.

I'll be glad for the company of one. :)

And Greg (Monkey Greg).  Also a Philip Glass fan.  :)

I do hope Ken will reconsider his decision and come back soon. I miss him already.

Sammy, welcome back, glad to see you again!

Glad Sammy-Don is back; one of my long-time favorites.

As for Ken, he will come or go as he sees fit, as have thousands before him and thousands more hence. As I would have counseled him if he had asked: keep your ass out of political discussions and you won't get it bitten. Same to all of y'all.  $:)

+1 - Roger that. Brings us back to Poco's Hamlet, I reckon... :)

I refuse to defend Glass. As my favorite living composer, I'm happy to promote him and ignore those who slight him.

I intend to, and you seem perfectly capable of defending yourself. For the record, I've already promoted you in my own circles, small as they may be.

Speaking about missing members: I missed RebLem's extensive posts in the Listening thread. Apparently he hasn't checked in for over two months.
