Don't name it!  You'll kill it!  Or, in the first chapter of the Tao Te Ching

The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth.
The named is the mother of ten thousand things.
Ever desireless, one can see the mystery.
Ever desiring, one can see the manifestations.
These two spring from the same source but differ in name;
    this appears as darkness.
Darkness within darkness.
The gate to all mystery.
That is so badass. Love it.

The whole Tao Te Ching  is 81 short poems and seriously bad ass.  You can read it in less than an hour, but your life will be warped forever, if you're lucky.

The Jane English and Feng translation has gorgeous photos as well, and the text is here for free.
