Hector, I think you are now talking about sex rather than talent and I admit she is easy on the eye, whereas 'our Gracie' was something of an eyesore.

In terms of entertainment, it is a close run thing as to which I would boil in oil first, though they would both get full broiling time.

Mike

'Our Gracie' was a bit of an earsore as well: Sally, The Biggest Aspidistra in the World...I cringe at the very thought.

You are right, though. I was talking about sex and it wasn't her wobbly voice I was referring to :-[

The self proclaimed 'Diva from Doncaster' -well she is ok if you don't like classical music but want to appear that you do to your friends/guests.  But to anyone who enjoys opera she is terrible.  I have a friend who knows nothing about Opera/Classical music but when asked what kind of music she likes she will say "classical music- charlotte church, russell watson"  YUK!

Listen to Scotto/Freni/Tebaldi sing O Mio Babbino Caro from Gianni Schicci -Christ she should be shot!!

Abbess in "the sound of music"-i would lock her in the Abbey and never let her out again.

Why time and money are spent on Watson, Jenkins and all the others is a scandel.  Yes they bring pleasure to the middle England Pim's brigade but PLEASE no more.....And if i have to read "opera singer Russell Watson" i shall screammmmmmmmmm

The self proclaimed 'Diva from Doncaster' -

Or as one of the newspapers called her "The down market diva from Doncaster!
