It's a very interesting instrumentation. Can't wait to listen to it...

Is wondering what to write next....
Probably a cello piece, as I do have a cellist on my mind, a lot.  0:) And I actually did ask her whether I could compose a piece dedicated to her, and she said yes and seemed very happy about it! :)

So yes, a cello piece. Maybe you get the picture already, it will be a very romantic piece! Better start thinking of some ideas.... :)

Shall post the Violin Sonata and 'Fantasie' very soon, I am sorry for not posting these works earlier!

If you ever get the inspiration to write a duet for flute & clarinet, let me know, Daniel : )

Just want to say this is a very enjoyable thread to read, I haven't heard your compositions yet, as I just came across this thread, but I'm looking forward to your music, especially the violin sonata someday...

Cheers!

Karl, what a beautiful combination that would be! I would certainly love to write a piece for that combination, are you asking because you may be able to offer a performance?

Thank you, Leo! I am glad you enjoy the thread, it is good to hear that I am not boring people! ;) I look forward to hearing your opinion then. I shall definitely upload the violin sonata, and the recently completed 'Fantasie' very soon. Thanks again! :)

Finally... here it is! The Violin Sonata! :)

I hope you all enjoy it and I will be excited to hear some opinions! :)

Of course, if you would rather wait to hear the performance Scarlet and myself give, that is fine. Hopefully, this computer playback should at least give you an idea of what the piece is like. :)

Will hopefully upload the 'Fantasie' soon as well!

And then I better start thinking about the next pieces... :D

Good night everyone! :)

How great! I want to concentrate on the sonata well, so I will listen to it tomorrow afternoon; can't wait to hear it! :)

As long as the piece meets the approval of my esteemed flute-playing colleague, aye : )

Slight preference for clarinet in A. Feel free to use either regular C flute or alto flute.

I've just finished listening to the Violin Sonata, what a stunning piece it is, certainly one of your best compositions so far, Daniel! ;D
It was very beautiful and lyrical, I really liked the tremblings of both the piano and the violin in the Adagio, they created a so ethereal, expressive atmosphere! The other movements were quite impressive as well, definitely brilliant. :)

Excellent job, Maestro! ;)

P.S. Could you send the score to me too, please?
