Can't overrate what nobody listens to :(

Oh wait, or perhaps it is because nobody listens to him that makes any amount of favourable impressions is overrating because the sample size is too small to draw an average from.

This is a deep, philisophical point going down here.

Does his popularity grow outside the confines of GMG?

On Twitter I encounter Brian lovers I never knew existed. Only a few days ago - a violin teacher at the Grieg Academy in Bergen, Norway. A few weeks ago - a director in Australia. I also have become friends with someone in Texas, an accompanist, who also loves the tv series McCloud and even looks like Dennis Weaver...

Now you just need a Peter Falk lookalike and you're set.

Not even on gmg there are like three posters on that thread! :D

The new erato

He's overrated in some quarters (you know who you are), but definitely not in general (he's not rated at all by the general public). I cannot seem to get my head around his music.

Moi?!

That makes him X-rated for you.

I assume this poll is based on some in-joke from the Brian thread. Man, that thread is overrated  :P

Hey! You're not likening the Brianites to . . . a hen-house, are you? : )

At this point, he's hardly even rated. A nice, juicy kumquat from me.

Anyone who has movie made of his life can't be underrated, can he?

I like a little bit of Brian's music, but I say he's overrated only on GMG. :D I don't think many are aware his music even exists. Anyway, I seriously was impressed with Brabbins's recent account of the Gothic that it has made me reconsider my normal indifference to his music.
