I think, if you're not 'some guy' or Bruce, your best bet of listening to some new music is on You Tube. j/k I haven't visited that thread much, but since you were looking for a thread about contemporary 'serious/art' music, I directed you to that one.

Don't know if I can say it's my favorite or anything, but I pop Stephen Hartke's Clarinet Concerto in with some regularity.  The whole disc is most entertaining.
