That Ol' Self-Same Shed

They say that brevity gets a poet ahead
But if that's true then I'll be dead
I ex-poetize with unstoppable tread
I rhyme all the time from breakfast to bed
My poetry's really bad, or so it's said
But they're just jealous of my cred
Up with this poem you're probably fed
That's assuming you haven't already fled
But hey, I can do this till I'm wed
Even while I'm eating bread
Or dangling by a poetical thread
That's the glory of Dave's ol' shed!

If Wordsworth were here, he'd have probably said,
"I wandered quite lonely, as clouds overhead,
Then trampled some daffodils till they were dead
In my rush for a dram with my pals in the shed."

Oh you speak the truth, Sarge. I didn't measure the time. I just recall sitting there thinking 'I'll try this', and then SHEDISTA! It was done, as though time itself had no reality.

I feel the same-ish.  I want to cut down on net usage, but I'm accomplishing that by canceling my home internet.

Dave appears and disappears with great regularity. He always has. I've become immune to it--expect it actually. But thanks for the report. I wonder if the Shed will now begin to collapse in on itself, eventually disappearing, only to pop up again at some other point in the forum's history.

Why would you want to do that? 
The internet is the biggest library in the existence of mankind. Where will you learn stuff? Books are good, but you can get most of them online anyways (sometimes free downloads). The internet offers much more. Also, TV is pure garbage.

I don't have cable either.   Greg I have internet at work (where I am now).  I'm not cut off, but this frees me from distractions so that I can read novels, listen to music and watch movies without constantly reaching for my ipad or my mac, or wasting hours looking up stupid things.
