I'm going to try this again.  I logged in a few months ago, probably in the wrong forum because I felt I was out of my depth.  I'm not a musician but I do love my music.  I have hosted a classical music radio programme since 1983 at Fanshawe College in London Ontario. The station is run by students with minimum supervision.  The station format from Monday to Saturday is rock, rap and other assorted musical abominations.  Sundays are for jazz, classical and talk.

This is my playlist for this coming Sunday.

A couple of points of interest: the Gluck work is not about the composer, but rather, the conductor Otto Klemperer who had some serious psychological issues.  Also, in the final hour there will be some interesting comments on the oft-maligned viola.

Welcome back, Radioguy. Nice to see you again.

That's a nice playlist, great variety for a day of listening. I realize it's because of the constraints of radio timing these days that you only play single (and occasional double) movements, but they are all solid stuff. Hope you feel more comfortable this time around. :)

Thank you for your friendly welcomes.  I'll be sure to post my playlist every week, and if there is anything you'd like me to play please let me know. If I have it I will play it. (Everything I play is from my own collection)  Next week's is almost done because I'm off on holiday starting tomorrow

Here it is,  a day late but in no way diminished for being so. I have included one of my favourite composers Andrzej  Panufnik who seems to combine the characteristics of Respighi and Hovanhess.  I hope you agree.

A couple of pieces  you might find of particular interest are the works by Jenkins (#8) and Beethoven (#15) both composed for the cello. I've also included my complete signature work and my closing theme in their entirety.
