Unrelated to the previous mention of XKCD, but a friend just linked this on MSN:

All I can say is *groans* :D

;D ;D

Oops. I got confused, thought this was that other thread... ;D (Guess that one is only for strips collected in book form... ;))

Who else reads The Comics Curmudgeon? One of my favorite blogs, perhaps the favorite.

I actually came here to post

,

...but I found that today's XKCD is more relevant to this board.

XKCD 1110 will probably break some records soon. It's been over 10 minutes since I went to the page and I've still not completely seen all of the main panel!

I spent way too much time on that. It's a great one (at least in one way), but the art / craft ratio isn't too high - and many of the more 'normal' xkcd's (small letters  ;) ) I find more enjoyable.

I agree. I suspect that he took a gigpix landscape photo of some American city, converted it to his comic format and then put in all the XKCDians. ;D I think we can expect a blagpost soon with all the details.

Yes, it's definitely some US city.

This xkcd is really scary - there are too much references to this:

OTOH, if it is the last one, I have no problem with that - there are plenty of the comics already, and Randall has probably exhausted a lot of the possibilities of the comic - even though they are almost limitless.

I highly doubt that it would be. I expect a last map, if there is one, to be a lot more subtler. I think this is just an expansion of his Internet Map, log scale view of the universe and things of that sort.

Yeah, it might just be that he's teasing us, but the comic is quite old already.
