My choice of Eastern European wasn't to make the suggestion that all of these countries are of one mind, culture, etc. because that would be completely ignorant on my part

But that is exactly what you did.

Why don't you just include countries that are famous for producing great composers?  See, that wasn't hard.

P.S.  And if you want to have some real fun just change "Scottish" to "Scotch!"

Perhaps I should use this as a template...

Only two of them would suffice:

Favorite Dominican Composer Poll

Dominicans (Republic)
Dominicans (Commonwealth)

And perhaps these two, too:

Oh no, please don't open that can of worms! The fierce battle between the supporters of Tobagonian Late Romanticism and those of Trinidadian Serialism ... the horror!  ;D

Yes, stick to your guns.  I get tired of hearing from members who bitch about the parameters of polls they don't initiate.  All they have to do is start their own polls based exactly on their preferences.

Well I usually try to be objective, especially in this type of poll, but the only complaint I've received has been from that troll member who thinks Hungarian should've been a separate choice. I simply will not list every nationality in the world and by grouping some of them together like East European and Scandinavian, I figured I was saving people from burning too up their votes. So much for helping people! :D

No explanations are needed.  Your poll, your choices.

The Six

Clearly the countries listed on a message board poll that 50 people voted in is a HUGE deal. What an outrage.
