They were playing "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year", the worst Christmas song since "The Little Drummer Boy" in a nearby drugstore BEFORE HALLOWE'EN.  So I haven't gone back.  I saw a news report that their head office was flooded with complaints and has told stores to take off the Christmas music until affter Nov. 11

I heard Christmas music in a store in early October... it made me mad!  I know that Christmas is by far the biggest time for stores, but let's reign in the greed a little bit Walmart!

That about sums it up for me. The problem is that they don't play it for a few weeks and that's it. It goes on for months now.

Just like the election campaign :). Somehow, the holiday sea$on was extended to include Thanksgiving and recently even Halloween.

That movie is hilarious. I love it, but for Christmas I often refer back to this old standby:
