77 not 79.  Star Wars came out in '77.  80s can't claim Star Wars, it's a 70's thing.

I'm just saying ::),... The '80s didn't really stop being the '70s until about 1982-1/2.

Take a look at that movie Super 8. Abrams slavishly recreated the feel of 1979,... oh, they know how to make me melt!
