Did you post a pic of yourself? I mean a recent one. I remember some pics from the 70s in the old forum.

Here's one that's up-to-date:

the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

You look a lot like Chailly.

But only when I comb my hair. Which happens not that often. It does what it wants anyway.

Indeed you do with that beard! You also look like you might belt out a good Wotan from that pic. :D

M, you should post a pic from a concert, those at the old board were quite good.

And cute pic Q! Snappy outfit.

I don't think I actually have any other ones. I think we were filmed a few months ago when we played Beehoven 9, but I have to check that, maybe I can post a clip of me and my section almost killing each other during the last movement. Some of the stuff there is among the most difficult, fast, complicated, across all strings, all over the fingerboard madness ever written in an orchestral bass part. Then you can all have a good laugh.

Judging from the maturity of your posts, I would have imagined you somewhat older (than the back of your head suggests).

QuoteMy favourite Sean picture also comes from a village--perhaps the same one? He's standing behind a group of dishevelled natives looking like he's about to skip off for some special time with the nearest farm animal.

You don't have to try so hard: most African hotels (and elsewhere) will have girls around, and if not will soon get you one.
