I can't see the photo. But I know you mean this one, Johan...  ;)

I am still undecided. So many girls to choose from.

And now we're on the subject, here is yours truly at a birthday party of a friend.

Let me guess: is it you there, in the front row, a bit to the left of the centre, in the blue shirt?  ::)

You're the guy in the painting on the wall, but now let me guess the Romanians: the guy in sweater, front row right; the second babe from the right, back row; the first babe left, back row; and possibly the babe in white, front row left. How did I score?  :)

The Romanians in the picture are: the photographer (you are wrong there  ;)), the man in the sweater, front row right (correct), the FIRST girl from the right, back row (wrong there), the first girl at the left, back row (correct), the man to the left (wrong again) holding his arm around the girl, who's Hungarian (Hungarian Hungarian, I mean) (wrong again). All five are students of Sociology from Brasov.

So you score two out of five (four visible), and mistake a Czech/Moravian (from Ostrava) and Hungarian (Budapest) woman for compatriots. Brave modern world.  :D

Wishful thinking perhaps...  ;D

Did anyone tell you you don't look Dutch in the least? To me you look Greek.  :D :D :D

Not even my mother did.  ;) In reality, I look almost as unmistakingly Dutch as the other Johan - with all of my ancestors from the past three hundred years stemming from a small, Low-Saxon, region in one of the eastern provinces of the Netherlands. A genuine Saxon then.  8)

If I didn't know you were Dutch before seeing you I'd have never guessed your nationality.  :D

Unmistakably Dutch (or at least of Germanic stock) for me would be something like this gentleman:

Yes, I am the genuine Dutch article, maternally at least!  :D  And the other Johan is as Saxon as Wagner.
