In honor of my 200th post, I've decided to include a picture of myself...

It's similar to my avatar, but a much better angle, makes me look years younger.

:D
I think that's the same monkey my little brother used to have (or at least one of them).

You wonder who Philo is talking to though? ;D

I'll caption it: "haha that's a funny one death!  you thought you would win that chess game didn't you?" :D

Yeah, probably. I don't see a shadow anywhere.

Thanks, Gurn & Davey!

I actually bought two hats yesterday . . . and this was the first hat I settled on:

Love the "T-Monk" style you are bringing here, Karl.  Let nothing deter you from its complete coolness.

I like hats. Hats are fun. I've recently taken to wearing a flat cap (or driver's cap), unintentional associations be damned. :P

I like the flat cap (I prefer the English design to the American "golf caddy" look), and bought a few when a shop around the corner was selling them cheap. But they only had M and XL, so I had to buy XLs, which were too large. I ended up giving them away (to someone with a bigger head). :(

Good hats are too expensive, around here anyway (Australian retail has a massive markup). I could buy one through Amazon - if I wanted to pay $40 shipping.

Haha Philo!! :D  I guess the new caption for that photo is "the secret is in the frosting!" ;D

That's John on the right when he had more...um, er... charm. 0:)
Damn!  I just stopped by to see who's still around and I already have to clean spewed coffee off my monitor!  ;D

By the way, Karl, I like chapeau #2.

I never got a good look at ya while you were on my back. Good looking fella, I have to admit!

Ah, yes indeed. How could I forget - my apologies, Novi! :)

And to Dundonel, who unfortunately no longer visits us :-\ - may he return soon!

Q

He has done ;D ;D

For a relatively recent(well, a year ago) photo' see my website-

The content of the website will, I would imagine, be of absolutely no interest to anyone here ;D ;D but it may help to explain what I have been up to for the last two years :)

Highly enlightening -  ;) ;D

You know that we will not LAUGH if you post a pic of yourself, even if in a funny pose?  ::)

P.S. Unless that is really you?  8)

I know nobody would laugh, I'll post a pic soon, not even sure if I have a recent one, may take a little time to find one. The past two years I've taken about 2000 pics, but all of my son.

For those who don't follow the Havergal Brian thread, here are three GMGers in one picture, at the Royal Albert Hall after the the Brian concert, on 17th July. My good self in the middle (my sister took the picture...), to my left is my friend Michiel Schuijer, the young man in glasses is our very own Brian (Reinhart), and next to him, half-concealed, is Luke (Ottevanger). A memorable night!

I know. It really is a pity.

You should have been flown in on a stretcher. We would have carried you in. A very biblical scene... !
