Hi everybody!

I'm glad to have found this forum; looking forward to countless hours of fun in front of the keyboard  :)

Cheers,

Welcome, Bogdan!

Care to tell us a bit about yourself - e.g. how much experience you have in (classical) music, and whether you have any favourite composers or performers.

Hey, this is GMG you know.  It is not possible for you or anyone else to have countless hours of fun here.  There are five types of Classical Music lovers here in GMG, Posh ones, Brawlers, Players, Listeners and ones who haven't got a clue but post stuff in blind ignorance anyway (me in that group).  It will be hours of torture, not fun, for you.  If you are of a sensitive disposition, try to have some porrige with bears in the mountains before even logging on to GMG.
:P

Welcome Bogdan, only joking, sure you will have fun here!   :D ;)

GMG is the only thing I know that goes well with both hockey and curling.

Welcome!

Thanks all for the warm welcome!

Experience in classical music: avid listener for as long as I remember, although lately I've been on a jazz kick. I 'm not really afraid to lose track of what's new since I am of the persuasion that at least as far as the classical repertoire goes, the best performers are long dead (okay, half-joking here :)). Favourite performers: Furtwangler, Mengelberg, Rosbaud, Scherchen, Szigeti, Schnabel, E. Fischer...  and so on... Check: yes, all dead.

Cheers!

Are you Romanian? The name strongly suggests it. Be it as it may, welcome and enjoy!
