Hi Folks,
New to the forum and somewhat a Classical Music newbie.
I currently listen to alot of Beethoven , Bach , Mozart , Chopin and Schubert and am building up a nice collection ( and bill :)) from ITunes .
After reading a few threads looks like I have plenty of good music to explore .I ain't touched any 21st Century composers just yet but might give a few a listen.I notice a few people rate Mahler who apart from the obvious movement in his 5th Symphony I have yet to enjoy .
Anyway Regards Darren

North Star

Welcome to the forum, Darren!
Yeah, that funeral march first movement is a great one ;)
There are several lists on the site for recommendations to beginners or in general, they might be worth a read.
And don't be afraid to ask if you can't find the answer yourself.

Welcome.   You'll find no lack of answers here to any question you might have; indeed,  you may find too many answers.

I have to mention that when I saw the title you gave this thread, i initially assumed we had a Beatles fan in our midst.
