I really like the 7th on that set.... wonderful pacing and structural control.

Ligeti "Chamber Concerto for 13 Instrumentalists" ;D
I love it. However, I always skip that section in the second half of the third movement with those squeaking-squawking woodwinds. I can do without it.

Nice! I wish I could hear them on vinyl one day. Casals/Serkin are one of my favorite versions of the Cello Sonatas. How is the sound on your LP?

This set is a beauty.  Warm and wonderful without diminishing Serkin's sparkle.

I always think that Casal's cello is a bit prominent at first, but then decide that it all works so well together...   :)
