We did a comparative blind listening game of a particular toccata (for harpsichord) a while ago - that thread might be an interesting read.

I recall when on the serarch for a nice recording of the complete toccatas not being charmed by this Virgin recording but very much liking his later Teldec/Warner remake - after my favorite Léon Berben (Ramée).

I own so much Delius now that there's not much left, Ray. As for Taneyev, I found out that my Dad owns all the Sanderling recordings on Naxos, so I'll definitely be borrowing those from him soon.
