My plan is NOT to post on this thread until... until... Say, October.
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

My Corelli holdings are small, and I thought their op 6 gorgeous.

So then, just a single post listing all the accumulations made in the interim?

Don't spill the beans, bro!

Actually, the idea is to make one order just before I go to the US in October. I am not planning to buy more than 20 to 30, since I also have many books to bring back.

The illegible disc on top there is Furtwängler — not at all my usual choice, but, What the hell! It's February! — conducting the Wiener Philharmoniker in Glazunov's Stenka Razin, and the Berliner Philharmoniker in the Pathétique.

I had some money left over from my Amazon gift card from my last purchase and so I bought this set in used, like new condition even though I already own this performance in the Decca Delius Edition. It will be nice to own the full box set with the complete libretto:

Couldn't find any other picture.

Hmm....I have one of those CD in another box set (I think)...but that means nine CDs I don't have, and mostly music of which I don't have other recordings...for under $20 on Amazon MP...and I actually haven't ordered anything since Friday night or Saturday!  What a good boy I am.

Ordered, with thanks.

Placed this order at europadisc:

If this disc is half as good as the recent Petrassi disc on Chandos it will be very good indeeed!

[asin]B00B28D5TC[/asin]
I bought the other disc in this series, found it good, and want the whole set.

[asin]B000009COX[/asin]
Found the other disc issued on cpo very good, and wanted this disc as well.

Now I'm gonna do a miniJohn and abstain for March. And even though it's my birthday month, there will be no birthday aquisitions.

You were born in March too, eh? What's the date? Mine is one the 10th. By the way, thumbs on the Villa-Lobos. I'll be anxious to hear your opinion of it.

Pheonix and LA. I may even decide to drive from LA to Oregon after that. There is also a possibility I may go to St. Louis as well.
