Yoohoo, Al!

Brand new from an Amazon seller for $20USD less than the Amazon price.

Oh yeah, a couple days ago I bought these also.  Along with the Klemperer, that makes 8 box sets I'm now waiting for.

As Mrs. NJ Joe is home during the day, I was forced to inform/prep/warn her of the pending deliveries.  She was busy when I told her and I don't think she quite grasped what I was saying. Probably better for the time being.

Yesterday, the new issue of Fanfare (Mar-Apr 2015) arrived and reviews of the offerings below piqued my interest, so put in an Amazon order:

Telemann, GP - Grand Concertos V.1 w/ Schneider & La Stagione Frankfurt - BOY! I have 50 Telemann CDs, and Schneider has about a dozen CPO discs of this composer's music, but my first purchase of this conductor & group in Telemann - checking my listing of Telemann recordings, there is only one work overlapped - a strong Fanfare recommendation and if enjoyed, I'll explore the conductor's other GPT recordings.

Hi Dave - nice haul!   ;)

The Telemann you scored is very high on my wishlist.

Looking forward to your thoughts on it.   :)

Will be curious about that second 10-CD box on the Music of the Habsburg Empire - added the back - each disc concentrates on a country, region, or city - assume numerous composers, both the famous ones and probably a lot of the forgotten ones - Dave :)

Just read my blog Dave, I have done already 3 of the 10 discs.

O, yes I most definitively am.
I am very interested what you may find of the Torres, since I did not order it.

It's 40%-50% off sale weekend at Half Price Books. I picked up these gems for dirt cheap, with the Haydn box being the most expensive at a whopping $12! I'm going back today to get some of the more higher priced items at 50% off, so stay tuned!
