Qobuz lied to me!  The prices were if you have their premium subs, i.e. fake prices.  They're actually more expensive so I ended up using Presto for all but Chailly M9 (which I still bought from 7digital).  I also bought this set:



This and the concertos were the case were I initially didn't like 'em and then gave them a fresh listen later and fell in love.
Edit: I meant the specific recordings, I've been a fan of the works for most of my adult life.

No that is it.  The standard already gives you access the the entire catalog with lossless and hd streaming.  The premium adds in discounts on hd tracks in the store.

For Idagio, the standard provides lossless streaming and the premium gives you access to livestreams of concerts (including video).

For myself, I've never been interested in hd audio in the first place, but I've dabbled with the concerts on Idagio.

I bought physical CD and it hasn't yet shipped.
The whole release was posted to Youtube and I enjoyed it there, though my computer speakers have crap fidelity so the assessment could change.

I have lots of Bach piano recordings but am a harpsichord novice, so my critical comments would be of limited value.
Suzuki's slow pensive approach appealed to me as a change of pace from Hantai, who is my harpsichord point of reference at this stage (Goldbergs, not K d F).

Suzuki is fairly consistent in his approach to solo keyboard Bach.  I was not wildly surprised by his 1080.  I really like it, but I also like all the solo keyboard Bach he is done that I've listened to.

I think it is definitely worth a listen by streaming if you like Suzuki.  But blind buying a $30 set?  I don't know, for you.  It wouldn't be a blind buy for me because I've already listened.  I'm holding out for a big box of Suzuki Bach solo keyboard (including organ).  Fingers crossed.

For me, a combination of wanting a keyboard recording of BWV 1080 (currently have only an oddball but interesting Italian string quartet release I can't locate right now) plus expanding my collection of harpsichord recordings. $30 is a lot, but after a winter of scrubbing endless planned concerts due to bad weather I have an accumulated entertainment budget. 

I preferred to roll the dice rather than spend endless time hairsplitting over reviews. Did enough comparative online listening to figure I can't go far wrong. And I'll likely survey a variety of harpsichordists rather than going for a big box. Though I did spring for Hantai's 6-CD Scarlatti set.

Fantastic, I still wanted to pick up the Byrd set, but I figured that the sell ended.  I also want the Pienaar Byrd as well, because it just hits right for me.

It was meant to conclude tomorrow 1st April but Qobuz pushed it back to the 8th a few days ago.

Moroney's Byrd has been on a sort of non-urgent wish-list for years. this Hyperion sale and my recent surge of interest in organ music made this jump the whole queue
