No no, these are from momox. I sold some items from the charity shop there and spent it on these from my wishlist :)

Wait, we're getting tangled up here!
That was me who mentioned "Amazon Global Store".
That's Amazon's term for a listing from another country's Amazon, usually Amazon UK or Amazon Japan.
So it's sort of buying directly from Amazon but not the usual Amazon.

Verdi operas highlights sung in Deutsch (great, great voices, wrong language).

Vols 2 and 4 from Rowland's integral - the best on harpsichord.

"The most complete collection of recordings" But do my eyes deceive me or are the Chopin nocturnes missing?  ::)

Your eyes do not deceive. Probably not included because this is still available

Two of my favourite composers:
"Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm" (Churchill).

'The test of a work of art is, in the end, our affection for it, not our ability to explain why it is good' (Stanley Kubrick).

One of my favorite contemporary composers is David Maslanka.  Some of his works are among my favorites, some I can not connect with.  My favorite work of his is A Child Garden of Dreams(I have four recordings of the work.  I heard a live performance with the Marine Band that was awesome.  The audience really like it and gave the performance a standing ovation.)  He passed away in 2017.

Albany records have released many recordings of his music.  He composed a Mass.  There was a recording issued by Albany records:

Sadly this is a very weak performance and I can not recommend it.

Mark Masters (www.markcustom.com) has issued a recording:

This performance is great  :) .  I get goose bumps listening to it.  The Mass is now one of my favorite Maslanka works.

Hat tip to @Madiel for the Poizat set.

I take this opportunity to say the following: yesterday evening the far-right,  pro-Russian candidate for the Romanian Presidency gave a live interview on a far-right French TV channel where he said such insulting inanities about President Macron and the whole French people that the moderators (far-right people close to Marine Le Pen, mind you!) felt the need to ironically and sharply rebuke him. As Romanian I am deeply ashamed by such behavior, especially since France has been historically the closest friend and ally of Romania and without French help and support Romania would probably not have existed at all. I am confident that this Sunday the centrist candidate wins (incidentally, he holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Sorbonne University) and we will be spared more such embarrassment, not to mention a catastrophic turn towards Russia.

Vive la France! Merci la France!

I feel good vibes about this one. Korngold's fun suite for violin and piano 'Much Ado About Nothing', violin sonatas by Strauss and Stan Golestan (1875-1956 -  he died the very same day I was born !!). The latter is unknown to me but he seems to have been well regarded in his native Romania and in France, where he settled and studied (Dukas, Roussel and d'Indy were his teachers - nice pedigree).

Great music and recording. Enjoy!

Actually I had ordered it a few hours before reading your posts, but you can be sure that if I hadn't, I'd have done it immediately after, with a hat-tip. Your posts were the catalyst for my posting the purchases, which I don't always do.  ;)
