Just ordered a used Boulez - Complete Webern 6 CD box. Which includes what sounds like a good booklet.

Amazing set! Yes, the booklet is rather nice and the whole packaging, in general, is some of DG's best work, IMHO.

6 CD set of Telemann's 'Concerti con molti stromenti'.

The back cover is more informative.

Same here.

As you probably know, I'm a fan of those recordings.  :)

I like the artwork of the hopeful listener looking out to sea and wondering when their CDs will arrive ;) .

I was quite impressed by the performances.
Similar sets on Erato and Alpha never really appealed to me for various reasons. Now considering to get rid of my bulky EMI boxset, for which I long held an affection. But I have to admit: overall good performances but never quite exceptional. And as one member correctly commented: in boxy sound.

From Ludwig Beck in Munich, where most of these items were on sale (I'm spending a couple of days on business in the Bavarian capital):

The CD, with all songs by Poulenc to poems by Paul Éluard (performed by baritone Jasper Schweppe and pianist Arthur Schoonderwoerd) comes in a handsome 120-page hardback illustrated book, with essays on the composer, the poet, and their relation to the visual arts (plus full sung texts). All in Dutch, French and English.

Somehow I never got round buying any of Juanjo Mena's Ginastera recordings on Chandos.

I thought I had this CD in my collection, but it was nowhere to be found when I looked for it. Mainly for the cute touch of having the composer's widow Madeleine Milhaud making a cameo appearance in La Muse ménagère.

Louis Vierné's piano music made a very favourable impression on me when I discovered it (thanks to GMG) during the 2020 lockdown, and I've read favourable things about pianist Laurent Wagschal.

For the unusual repertoire from the Parisian années folles.

Perhaps you have the alternate cover, with Madame Milhaud in more conjugal pose instead of with a rakish young artist?

Your next challenge is to find this Juilliard Quartet recording, although I think it appears on CD only as part of a Juilliard Quartet Recordings set (which is how I have it).

I think she's more wondering when the fishermen will return (looking at the net and the tool).  My guess in any event.  :)
