Right you are! that's the one. It serves as a quasi-official song of the British Navy and still gets a lot of traction, but its colonialist symbolism now hangs heavy upon it.

After a great recording of Monteverdi's Ulisse, I Gemelli offer another superb set. Accompanied by a 285 big booklet, it is a luxury edition.
The first half of life is spent in longing for the second, the second half in regretting the first.

I listened to excerpts of this recording last spring on French radio while driving. I was very favourably impressed. I looked for the physical product, but never found it. Will try to get a copy.  :)
