The ASIN link isn't available any more?

ASIN is dead as a Dodo...

What you could do is post linked pictures, which looks like this:

Notes that I inserted some spaces that are not supposed to be there for visibility of the code.

Look what the CD-review-demanding MusicWeb cat dragged in:

Three numbers from Catch Me If You Can by John Williams
La création du monde, Op. 81 by Darius Milhaud
Divertimento by Roger Boutry
Concerto for Saxophone and Band, Op. 26 by Paul Creston
Salute the band by Anders Emilsson
Escualo by Astor Piazzolla

Claude Delangle (alto saxophone)
Christian Lindberg (conductor)
Swedish Wind Ensemble

"Aulin's incidental music to Master Olof is composed in a traditional euphonious Swedish style with quiet allusions to the German Renaissance." Paired with Swedish Dances and Dances from Gotland. WDR Rundfunkorchester Koln, Niklas Willen

"Neukomm loved experimentation - in his chamber music he tested unusual ensembles and programmatic content. He is often concerned less with the dramaturgy of contrasting themes than with the development of the tonal charm of instruments so very different in character. Neukomm composed all these works while residing or traveling in England."

Found a new copy of this disc.  Given Lucchesini's high grade solo Berio, I have high hopes.

I do very much like Daniel Hope's Mendelssohn!
The concerto is a piece I have heard but could not have identified by name. Daniel Hope is wonderful.

The code tags take care of making the code appear as it shoud, without it being 'implemented'.

Nice catch. :)

It is always nice to hear this, even when the trigger's been pulled!  Accumulation of more stuff is always tinged with sour regret, for me, even when I am pretty sure it will be great.  I should mention for the umpteenth time to anyone who doesn't have some viol music of this genre/period, a disc of Jenkins is also available in the Fretwork 5cd [English] MUSIC FOR VIOLS box, really cheap and full of beautiful music, super highly recommended.

Some more items that I'm afraid might be somewhat the impulse buys, somewhat:

ASIN: B0000501PK  [there are a couple different product pages for this item]

I disregarded good advice I got about getting the older edition of this set, and I might live to regret that decision; I went with this one because it was $30 postpaid, new, with 10 discs instead of the old edition's 8, and the extra two discs are.....Elly Ameling.  I could not say no.  But apparently the old edition has a nice thick booklet with notes and full texts.  I will probably just digitally pirate it, frankly.

To complement the 4cd Busoni box from Capriccio I got recently.  I've heard this mammoth concerto is epic and perhaps a little bit batty.  I'm in!

Hat-tip, MCU.

It's so big, it actually cuts off the right side. Maybe Erato is just playing with us?

Broke down and bought this from ArkivMusic.  Probably overpaid, but there were some good comments about it on the Bernstein Conducting thread and I couldn't resist.
"Music can inspire love, religious ecstasy, cathartic release, social bonding, and a glimpse of another dimension. A sense that there is another time, another space and another, better universe."

He was merely being consistent.
