Very good choice, if I am allowed to say so :)

Of course, it was your recommendation that led to this purchase anyway! :)
Will report on my impressions.

I will if time and circumstances permit, play the second disc of this set. Do not forget the fabulous set of Homilius Que, that is truly fantastic.
Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

"When Time hath gnawed our bones to dust, yet friendship's echo shall not rust"

What on earth possessed them to completely change the style of the cover, even the font, from one volume to the other?

Pretty much indispensable if you are even remotely interested in the Ring Cycle. The written by John Culshaw makes a mandatory companionship to this video.

Hey! I'm remotely interested!  0:)

Pretty much my favourite disc of all time.

Great! I'm very eager to listen to it.

It gets even worse: the release on top is a digi-pack and the bottom one is a standard jewel case.  :o ??? ::)
Wise words from Que:

Never waste a good reason for a purchase....  ;)

Do we credit the Marketing minds for such insights?!?!

Last thing I need. Still, when I was younger Szell, Bohm, Jochum and Klemperer were my go-to guys. This has appeal ..  :'(

Someone went to a seminar and was told that sans serif was really "in" this year.

This could be the GMG slogan.

The era of cheap discs has made listening more expensive. In the 80s I'd play a disc a hundred times. The cost per spin was bupkis. Now I have yards of stuff I have heard once, twice, not at all.

So, no purchases today. What were those 12 steps again?
