Dear All,

Can anybody help me with the identification of the piece that starts at 50 minutes 50 seconds of the following movie:

http://rclvideolibrary.com/2012/12/08/why-beauty-matters/

The movie itself ("Why beauty matters" by the philosopher Roger Scruton), by the way, is a really interesting one. I do recommend it!

All the best,

Daimonion

Ahoy there! Long time, no see. :)

I could say the same to you - why no more Flickr uploads? ;)  I expect to see some Comet photography this year! I'm certainly going to give it a go.

*Busted!*  :-[

For one, I sort of lost interest. :( Kind of re-surfaced in late '09, but then I didn't bother uploading anything. And these days I'm camera-less, since my previous one went bust last year. Lemmon and PanSTARRS will only be visual delights for me, I'm afraid. (Hopefully, I'll have rectified the situation before ISON comes along. ;D) However, I look forward to the shots (cloudless ones  ;)) from you.

ISON! How exciting! I'm currently in the Midwest US, for a few weeks more, so I may be able to escape to a good dark sky location, but by ISONs approach I will be back in the overpopulated permacloud that is the UK. Still, it won't stop me from trying to get a decent picture, no way!

I'm sorry to hear you lost interest. It's easy to do - I have waves of interest that come and go (explaining my periodic absence from GMG!). Sometimes a change of scenery boost creativity, and i've been very lucky this past 12 months to have spent 10 of them in super-photogenic British Columbia, as well as doing a roadtrip through the midwest US and then down the Pacific Coast and through the desert states. I will upload some of my photos to Flickr soon.

Sounds wonderful! The deserts of Arizona should offer you views of the southern hemisphere which are out of bounds at home.

Thank you very much for the identification of this music. My 3-years old son likes it very much! (because of the initial cello motif he calls it "tee ru tee ru")
