I hope one day they will decide to chose a woman for pope (the papette, or popette?), and someone under the age of 80.  ;D

And perhaps a maximum fixed term (sort of like the U.S. presidency)

Oh well, at least for many, many centuries they have stopped beheading them.  :o

Consistently choosing someone over 80, however, helps them effectively have fixed term limits without having to spell it out.  ;)
