What a very funny game, it's a wonderful way to see many enchanting places. ;D
I got 13340 points: Japan, Ireland, Sweden, South Carolina and Washington.

Are you into wine?

Beer, when I drink at all - although I'd be interested to know what "Points mean prizes" means to you (to me it's just a sort of archetypal remark from British game shows, much parodied by the late great Humphrey Lyttelton on I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue).

My favourite Where? so far has been one in complete darkness but for a distant pair of headlights - which I managed to get within 330km of with a random dab at south-central USA (apparently it was on Route 44 near Albuquerque.

Points mean prizes is an oft quoted expression from the use of points of wine critics Like Robert Parker.

I find the endless road surrounded by barren landscape to be particularly difficult. That sort of picture can be almost anywhere in the world.

It's actually not all that hard. Firstly there are few truly barren places. Secondly the vegetation is a big hint. Finally, another huge hint are the road markings and side of road in which traffic moves.  ;)

It could result in one being off by the width of Australia, in a lot of cases. :-[

In one game I got dumped on a road 6 km from my fathers birthplace in a far off village on a far off island in Northern Norway. Now how likely is that?

Quite a coincidence, erato!

How many times have folks encountered places they've precisely BEEN TO? Once for me: a rest stop in Sausalito, California with a clear view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Game finished!

You got 32107 points in total.

But spent an hour doing so, and I did use wikipedia  :) Hojerup Church in Denmark, Route 18 in Kermit West Texas, Port Edward in South Africa, Mayo in the Yukon, and Corner Brook Newfoundland.

I hearby retire from playing - just took too long!
