     I was watching an old video of the Byrds from 1965 and followed a link to this.

Wow, thanks a lot for that.  This is great....and from a 1986 recording (So Rebellious a Lover), apparently.  Does anyone know his discography well enough to recommend the essential albums for the dabbler?  (If albums are even the way to listen to his music.)  I mainly know his post-Byrds music as a nice mix tape made for me by a friend, long since lost to overuse and the elements.

I am ashamed of myself for having ever not loved pedal steel.  A viol consort on the cheap.
