I have never understood this thing about selling sealed CDs. Why purchase it in the first place if it never got a spin?

I have never understood this thing about selling sealed CDs. Why purchase it in the first place if it never got a spin?

in my case, I have a small (perhaps five or six) pile of recordings of which I accidently ordered a duplicate, not realizing I already had it.  I've never gotten around to posting them on EBay or elsewhere,  but I caught the mistakes early enough in all cases to allow me to not open the wrapping, in anticipation of when I'll get my Ebay or Amazon MP act together.
