I found a Hahn live recording from 2008 on Youtube, and it's far and away the best version of Glazunov's Concerto I've ever heard. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it available for purchase anywhere. Anyone heard a better version or know where to find this one outside of youtube?

Btw, here's the link. Don't miss from 14:17 on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igqj4lAV6UY

Have not heard the Hahn, but I have a soft spot for Camilla Wick's recording of it. In fact, her recording of every concerto is among my favorite. Too bad there are so few available.

The Milstein/Steinberg recording is very good. You can find it in the ICON Steinberg box as well as an older Milstein box. You can hear the first movement here, but the sound in the ICON box is VASTLY improved - no ticks or anything and it sounds great (much better than this clip, so they clearly cleaned it up): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fs-wCZU6d4

She's another forgotten gem of a violinist. Her Sibelius cto. with Sixten Ehrling conducting is my favorite performance of that work.

I have the legendary version of Heifetz with Hendl.

The more recent version of Shumsky with Neeme Jarvi is a very good second choice, and the CD includes a splendid version of the "Seasons".

I only know Gil Shaham's recording with Pletnev, which I quite like. Don't know if it's still available though.

ETA: it is. http://www.prestoclassical.co.uk/r/DG/E4570642
