Specialized genealogy/family history questions ...

I am working on a text that would benefit greatly from a bit of further information about a rather unknown, Finnish woman, about whom I only found little material on the web.

It´s often amazing what one can find nowadays through such sources, but my navigating on Finnish (and Swedish?) websites might not be the best, therefore I´ll try this - and probably make an entry on a couple of other, specialized forums as well.

So far, this is what I´ve found out - in the main:

Estrid/"Essie" Klingendahl Pellas, born 1893 as a daughter of the entrepreneur and factory owner Fabian Klingendahl in Tampere/Tammerfors (1852-1937) and Gärda Josefina Lauren. The parents married in 1892.

Estrid worked as a board member in a home for the elderly in Tampere and bought 1/3 of it in 1950; she married Lauri Pellas in 1946, which was his 3rd marriage. He died in 1953, and I´ve found some info on his career too, as well as the story about the father´s factory and career.

First of all, I´d like to know how long she - and maybe her mother - lived.
Also, a source says that she created textiles/weavings/handicraft, but I have found no confirming web sources.
Thirdly, if possible, I´d like to know more about her addresses, and if possible other occupations and travels.

I am aware of the often astonishing research websites GENI and MYHERITAGE and have used them too.

The idea was, that maybe the thread can be used for genealogy questions/family history posed by others, later on.
But it is fully understandable of course, if this won´t really produce any further results

Well, it turns out that after a good deal of time, this post resulted in some very interesting feed back.
