Is there an easy way to post a table, and keep the formatting?

Tables are a pain. The only way I know can be found in this post (just quote it to see, reply #2): http://www.good-music-guide.com/community/index.php/topic,21805.msg717457.html#msg717457

Post it as a picture. I recommend png-format.

Example:
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

I agree, I was going to suggest the same thing.

Copy the table in Word, then move further down the page and select 'Paste special...' > Paste as picture. Then just post it as you would an album cover.

Thanks

This worked better in Excel because in the free version of word on Windows 10 I couldn't see a way to paste as a picture without distorting the fie . Pasting as an enhanced metafile lost some of the table formatting.  In Excel it's possible, but it isn't possible to save as a jpeg file, as far as I can see -- I had to paste a picture from Excel into Paint and save from there.

Looks like they took away some of the features. Anyway, it is good you were able to do that. I discovered that method with some of my blog posts, because the blog software won't let you wrap text around a table like it does around a picture, so I had to make a picture of the table.  *sigh*
