The "mad scientist" picture, as Zappa called it:

Although I think this one is a better fit with the music:

Top photo looks like a deranged Vaughan Williams! Sorry, should have labelled Pettersson and Mussorgsky.

All the Nordic composers look like their music. :D
Makes you wish some of the Swedish actresses (and that includes those from Swedish Erotica) composed.
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

:P

Yeah, if they did, it would sound something like Atterberg's ultra-romantic music. :)

Harald Sæverud

Yikes! Yeah, Saeverud's music is craggy no doubt. I haven't been able to completely warm to his music, especially his later works. They can be quite harsh (bringing to mind Schuman's later works). I like his Third and Seventh symphonies quite a bit, though.

Are you suggesting that Atterbergs music would be at home in a Porn movie?  This is diabolical of you to say the least, Herr Kyle.   >:D   :P  However, I do agree that the music 'gives it some.'

One of them but have a secret nickname like "The Seka Symphony".

Schoenberg.  He was as baldy as his music, and as harsh and barren looking as his music sounded.  (Sorry Arnold, I really don't mean to be so cruel.  :-[ )

***hurries away in a long coat to locate and buy Atterbergs secretly named 'Seka Symphony' from some guy doing Swedish CD deals in Moscow***

Harald Sæverud

There is something feline about him.  Very interesting features.
He is cat-like.  And grand.
I see him and suddenly I want to hear his music...

I'd recommend starting with Symphonies 3 and 7, Peer Gynt, or the Bassoon Concerto. Saeverud's not an "easy" composer by any means, but I think you'll find something to enjoy in his music.

I'd say Martinů looks like his music:
