Cornelius Cardew

Never ever heard about them.  ;D ;D ;D

I actually like Cardew's Treatise... but you would need to be into pointillistic, chance and graphic score music to appreciate it.

He is well-known for having been the "ghost composer" of Stockhausen's Carré, having assisted him in a number of important works, and also for his left-wing leanings (see e.g. Stockhausen serves imperialism, easily found online).

She was Haydn's first known student of voice and keyboard, he took her over from Metastasio when she was 8 or 9. She turned out to be a real talent, was friends with Mozart who used to play 4-hands with her.

December 13. Not a bad day, missed me by 1. :)

Henry VIII.  So that's Greensleeves allegedly taken care of.

Also Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov and Reynaldo Hahn.

Every single post on the forum is unnecessary. Including the ones that are interesting or useful.
