I'm sure, when I heard lady's voices on the CD I didn't like above, the one from Pontigny,  it was in polyphonic music I think. However, it would be interesting to hear that LP to see what the women do.

Fulbert de Chartres, Venace Fortunat. Of course, I never know how much is in the score and how much is embellishment by the singers - but whatever, it really is magical stuff. 1000 years old, and still fresh, still exciting.
