We were born in the same year under the same sign (I'm July 12th.) In addition to the fact (I believe) we are both teachers, I wonder what other similarities the stars may have set forth for us.

Very interesting - thank you. I was born on June 22nd at 10.45 at night. Had I been born earlier in the day I would have been a Gemini. Yes, I am a teacher too.

A fellow Cancerian (thoughtful, kind, sensitive etc) excellent!

Very kind of you, Jeffrey.  My sentiments to you also!  :)

My father was a Cancer also (July 2), while my birthday is on July 9th.  It was always great growing up as we would both celebrate our birthdays over camping trips on summer holidays.  :)

What star sign are you? Like vandermolen, Cancer, and also born in the year of the goat (1955).  Could we be the same person?
Do you read your Horoscope? No
Do you believe in Astrology? No

Yes, we could indeed be the same person.  8)

How lovely (re: camping trips on holiday - sounds great).

You're also compatible with Scorpio since Cancer, Pisces, and Scorpio are all water signs.

Many thanks John. I will keep this in mind  :).

Well I'm a freakin' Pisces. :( If I recall what the sign looks like, it's two fish with both of them going in opposite directions. One swimming with the current and the other swimming against it. :) Anyway, this stuff is merely for entertainment value if anything. I certainly can't say I seriously believe anything I read about this stuff. As for the characteristics of this sign, does passing a lot of gas count for one of them? If so, then, yes, that's me!

Aha, you and Daniel are Pisces.  Being a Cancer, guess that's why we all get along.  :D

8) Actually, this may weird you out, but Daniel and I actually have the same birthdays, too (March 10th). :) In all honesty, I get along with anyone that wants to get along with me. If I have any problems with anyone it's usually a result of their boorish behavior and not what sign they are.

Another thing of note: if I were to really examine how something works between two people, then I would have look at my parents who have been married for 42 years. My Dad is a Capricorn and my Mom is an Aquarius. Looking at the two personality traits of both signs on paper, you would never in a million years imagine these two getting along, but they do and have made it work for this long. I can't quite put my finger on how it's worked for them, but it's a testament to the power of love and how something can work if you have two people willing to make personal sacrifices.

I'm Capricorn. Honestly, I rarely read my Horoscope and I don't believe in it.

Pisces (I'm a week older than MI and Daniel.  We don't say how many years older I am, of course).
Lunar sign:  Capricorn (emphasized by Saturn being conjunct with Moon!)
Ascendant: Taurus

Never took newspaper horoscopes seriously,  but I did study the matter enough to figure out how to cast a horoscope myself (as you can probably infer from the fact that I know stuff other than my sun sign).

Don't think it has any predictive value,  but I do think it can have a great deal of validity in analyzing a person's psychology.  I know my horoscope describes my personality fairly well.

I have over the years done horoscopes for other people, although I no longer have the software or the reference books to get the data I would need to do one for anyone here.    High point of my "career" was pointing out to a neighbor that his homosexuality was firmly indicated in his horoscope,  before he had actually "come out" to me (although I knew him well enough already to make that conclusion something more than an inspired guess--this was in the late '80s, in a period when most gay men still needed to exercise prudence in choosing with whom and/or where they could be "out").

I knew you were a Pisces, Jeffrey, but I didn't know that extra bit of information you provided. Rather interesting.

I really don't know what signs I get along with but my two best friends in school were a Capricorn and a Cancer. And the woman I had a crush on all during school was another Pisces. So hell...I don't know.

I was born in the year of the Scavenger, the season of the Bitch.

Now that's a sign I believe in - the Diamond Dog!

I am a Sagittarius (December 13) born in the year of the Rat 1972.

I must confess that both zodiacs are quite accurate in describing my personal traits and general character. I've read quite a few and they all agreed on the essential points and were right.  :D So, yes, I believe there might be some truth in it, after all - but only at this general, psychological level.  ;D

I certainly don't believe in daily horoscopes, though. I never bother to read them and I think they're just rubbish.
